Julia Piklikiewicz is a Polish actress of Taiwanese-Brasilian roots. She’s graduating from the Theatre Academy in Warsaw, specializing in acting and singing. In theatre, she’s worked with Bartosz Porczyk, Grzegorz Chrapkiewicz, Kamil Białaszek, Anna Sroka-Hryń and Konrad Imiela. She explores dramatic, musical and performative projects.
She has studies performance in Toneelacademie in Maastricht, Netherlands, as well as the French language at Sorbonne Université in Paris, France. She speaks English, French and Portuguese.
She has performed in the Roma Musical Theatre in Warsaw in the play „Sprzedawcy marzeń: piosenki zespołu Myslovitz i Artura Rojka”.
She’s drawn to interesting, imaginative, out-of-the box characters, who dare to pose questions and contest norms. She values the creative process.
Apart from acting, she loves music – singing and dancing. She also enjoys far away travel and cooking.
She’s currently waiting for the premiere of the film in which she plays her first main role – „Black Hour” directed by Filip Bojarski.
She’s also working on her first solo play based on her family’s migration history, their travel from Taiwan to Brasil, the culture of South America and Asia, and the societal norms females encounter in both of those cultures.
